The Long Awaited Lett Wedding |

Ladies & gentlemen,
please raise your plastic cup of Mickey's for the happy couple |

Chris & Jacque's wedding was the reason we planned to stay north
of the border for so long after our return from Europe and the
birth of our nephew, so we've been looking forward to it for
quite a while. Luckily for us, the wedding was right in
Dexter, with the reception in neighboring Ann Arbor - thanks
again C&J for choosing those locales strictly on our account.
The Big Day lived up to all its hype. The atmosphere
was festive, the sonnets and haikus inspired, and the beer
flowed like wine. A 40oz of Mickey's malt liquor on each
table for the toasts was a nice touch, and we got to witness the
most impressive dual-bride-groom kegstand we'd ever seen.
Thanks again Chris and Jacque for planning the affair, we'll be
watching the pages of upcoming Martha Stewart's Wedding issues
for photos of the event.

Plenty of do-see-do-ing makes for a great wedding

Back at the Ranch |

Family visiting and
business as usual |

After a wonderful visit with Caroline's dad, Steve and step-mom,
Lucia at their beautiful Lake Champlain home in upstate NY on
our way back to Michigan, we are now back in Dexter, relaxing,
recharging and preparing for our next adventure (as always!): a
home exchange to Albuquerque, NM to see if we will make that our
new home in the new year. Since returning to Michigan, we've
also visited our darling one-month-old-nephew Christopher, and
his sleep-deprived-zombie-parents for a few days around
Thanksgiving. He is a sweet baby and very cute but we are
happy to be back in the relaxed, quiet adult world at Scott's
parents'! |
